What you need to know

We can’t wait to see you on Sat. June 6 as we come together to support preventative cardiac care at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN).

Here’s some important info about the walk:

There are several parking areas around Uptown Waterloo Square (free on weekends), including a parking garage across the street and Waterloo City Hall.

When you check in at our registration table, you’ll get a free ION pass so you can get back to your car when the walk is over.

The Manulife RedDAY Walk will start at Uptown Waterloo Square at 10 a.m.

We’ll walk together down King St. for about 3 km and end at the Manulife parking lot at 25 Water St., Kitchener.

No problem. We’ve set up a stop along the way (about 1 km from the starting line) at our WRHN @ Midtown site, formerly Grand River Hospital.

You’ll get a great welcome package that includes a Manulife RedDAY Walk t-shirt, an ION pass for the day, and a fun pass that gives you access to coffee and lunch once the walk is over.

Funds raised through the Manulife RedDAY Walk support preventative cardiac care at WRHN. And with Manulife matching donations dollar for dollar, up to $200,000, your impact will go twice as far.

RedDAY helps fund equipment and programming needs at WRHN’s PREVENT Clinic — an initiative that helps patients identify and mitigate their risk of developing heart disease.

Yes. In order to participate in the Manulife RedDAY Walk, each individual registrant must read and sign the waiver at redday.ca/waiver
