Meredith’s Story

“Early on it just felt like I was really tired…I would be working out and I just couldn’t push myself any harder.” Atrial fibrillation is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications. Afib is the most common arrhythmia, affecting approximately 200,000 Canadians – Meredith is one of them. This is her story.
